As Usual, Top Class From Nike

Nike’s famed “Just Do It” slogan has just turned 20. In honor of what has become one of the most notable themes in marketing history, Nike is launching a new campaign entitled “Courage.” Though Nike is not a lead sponsor of the Olympics, they will be running this campaign worldwide, and gracing us here in the states the day of the opening ceremonies (August 8,2008).

The campaign honors memorable performances from the past as well as highlighting young talents, including Lebron James, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Wayne Rooney.

“Clearly we're going to inspire the consumer with this campaign, which is really about celebrating probably one of the most inspirational brand statements of all time,” said Joaquin Hidalgo, VP-global brand marketing at Nike.

They continue to amaze. Click here to see the spot.
